Oliver Langton, is 11 years old and in Yr6 of Carlton Primary School. He has two brothers and a cousin who are also students at Carlton, in his cousins class is a little boy called Noah, who the whole school think is amazing.
The other children in the school call him their hero. Noah has had 53 operations and the last one was on his actual 7th birthday- imagine spending your birthday in hospital having an operation, but Noah is brave and Oliver and the rest of the school are all so proud of him.
Noah spends so much time away from school which is such a shame as he loves school so much and misses his friends and teachers, all of whom miss him also,
The fundraising taking place for him and the use of this Robot means he can virtually attend classes like the rest of the students, raise his hand to ask a question and be part of a normal school day, whether he is in hospital or recuperating at home.
The rest of the School all know what it has been like to be away from their friends and how happy they all were to be back with them after lockdown. This is Olivers chance to help to give Noah a share of that feeling too.
The small village community are doing an amazing job fundraising for the £6,500 robot, and Oliver wanted to help aswell
He has just got a new bike and is going to cycle 20k on the 27th June and has also roped his dad into accompanying him.
He is aksing for help in raising money for this worthwhile cause, “Noahs robot” by sponsoring him, as little or as much you can.
He is looking forward to completing the 20k and hoping not have to wait too long for his dad to catch him up
